Section 1 – Course Disclaimer & Scope

All My Reset Lab courses (“Courses”) are designed to provide wellness education, skill-building, and peer-driven insights. They are not professional therapy, medical treatment, psychological counseling, or a substitute for licensed healthcare services.

Course content—including videos, worksheets, exercises, and live sessions—is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as individualized medical or mental‐health advice.

No Professional‑Client Relationship

Participation in a Course does not create a therapist‑client, doctor‑patient, or other regulated professional relationship between you (“Participant”) and My Reset Lab, its instructors, or any third‑party contributors.

Participant Responsibility

You must use your own judgment and, if in doubt, consult a qualified healthcare professional before applying any strategies or techniques learned in the Course—especially those related to mental health, trauma, or medical conditions.

You acknowledge that results vary and My Reset Lab makes no guarantees regarding your personal outcomes, improvements, or transformations.

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties: My Reset Lab disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of Course materials.

No Liability for Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither My Reset Lab nor its affiliates, officers, instructors, or volunteers will be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in or reliance on any Course content.

Intended Audience & Prerequisites

Courses are intended for adults (18 years or older) seeking self‑guided wellness or personal growth education.

Some Courses may list recommended prerequisites (e.g., completing “Emotions 101” before “Emotions 201”); please review course descriptions carefully before enrolling.

Section 2 – Enrollment, Payment & Refund Terms
2.1 Enrollment Process

Registration: To enroll, Participants must complete the online registration form and provide accurate, up‑to‑date contact and payment information.
-
Eligibility: Courses are open to anyone aged 18 or older who agrees to these Terms. My Reset Lab reserves the right to refuse or terminate enrollment for any Participant at its sole discretion.
2.2 Payment Terms

Course Fees: All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any taxes or transaction fees. My Reset Lab may charge sales tax or VAT where applicable.

Due Date: Payment is due in full at the time of registration unless a payment plan has been expressly approved in writing.

Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Enrollment is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed.

Late or Failed Payments: If a scheduled payment fails, access to the Course will be suspended until payment is received. Participants remain responsible for all unpaid balances, including any collection costs or interest permitted by law.
2.3 Refund & Cancellation Policy

Standard Refund Window: Participants may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of enrollment, provided they have accessed no more than 10% of Course materials (e.g., lesson videos, downloads).
-
After Refund Window: No refunds will be issued after the 7‑day period or once 10% of content has been accessed—whichever occurs first.
-
Cancellation by Participant: To cancel, email refunds@myresetlab.com with your name, course title, and reason for cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.

Course Cancellation by My Reset Lab: In the unlikely event we cancel a Course, Participants will receive either (a) a full refund of all Course fees paid or (b) credit toward another Course of equal value, at our option. We are not liable for any additional damages or expenses (e.g., travel, lodging).
2.4 Payment Plans & Financing

Installment Plans: Where offered, Participants choosing an installment plan must agree to automatic billing on the dates indicated during checkout.
-
Default on Installments: A missed installment will incur a late fee of $25 or the maximum permitted by law. Three (3) consecutive missed payments permit My Reset Lab to terminate access without refund and seek collection of the full outstanding balance.
2.5 Course Transfers & Deferrals

Transfer Requests: Participants may request to transfer enrollment to a future offering of the same Course up to 14 days before the scheduled start date, subject to a $50 administrative fee.

Deferrals: Deferral to a later cohort within the same calendar year is permitted once, provided the request is submitted in writing at least 14 days before the Course start. No refunds or credits beyond the deferral apply.

Non‑Transferable Discounts: Promotional codes, scholarships, or group rates are not transferable and expire if not used for the original Course cohort.
2.6 Termination of Access

By Participant: Access ends upon completion of the Course or effective date of any cancellation/refund.
-
By My Reset Lab: We may terminate your access immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct.
Section 3 – Intellectual Property & License Grants
3.1 Ownership of Course Materials

All Rights Reserved: My Reset Lab and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights (including copyrights, trademarks, and database rights) in and to all Course content—videos, audio recordings, slide decks, written materials, exercises, graphics, and software (“Course Materials”).

Moral Rights: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in any feedback or contributions you provide.
3.2 Limited License to Participants

Personal, Non‑Commercial Use: Upon full payment and enrollment, My Reset Lab grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Course Materials solely for your personal, educational, non‑commercial purposes during the access period.

No Transfer or Sublicense: You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise make Course Materials available to any third party.
3.3 Prohibited Uses
Participants must not:

Copy or Reproduce: Print, download (beyond allowances for personal use), copy, or record Course Materials, except as expressly permitted.
-
Modify or Derivative Works: Create translations, adaptations, or derivative works based on Course Materials.
-
Publicly Display or Perform: Broadcast, publish, or publicly exhibit any Course Materials.
-
Circumvent Protections: Bypass or remove any digital rights management (DRM) or technological protection measures.
3.4 Participant‑Generated Content & Feedback

Ownership: Any text, ideas, suggestions, or other materials you submit as feedback become the exclusive property of My Reset Lab.

Use of Feedback: We may use, modify, and incorporate feedback in future editions or derivative works, without compensation or attribution to you.
3.5 Third‑Party Content

Third‑Party Licenses: Some Course Materials may include content licensed from third parties. Your use of that content is subject to the same restrictions above and any additional terms imposed by the third‑party license.

No Endorsement: References to any third‑party products, services, or websites do not imply endorsement by My Reset Lab.

Section 4 – Course Access, Completion & Certification
4.1 Course Access & Duration

Access Period:

Standard Courses grant access for 90 days from your enrollment date unless otherwise specified.

Platform Availability:

Course Materials (videos, downloads, discussion forums) are hosted on our secure Learning Management System (LMS).
-
We strive for 99.9% uptime but are not liable for temporary outages.
-
4.2 Progress Tracking & Completion Requirements

Module Completion:

You must complete all required modules—including videos, readings, quizzes, and practical exercises—to be eligible for a certificate.

Participation Threshold:

For live/cohort-based Courses, you must attend at least 75% of scheduled live sessions (recordings do not count toward live attendance).

Assessment Standards:

Quizzes require a minimum score of 80%. You may retake quizzes up to 3 times without penalty.
-
Practical assignments must meet instructor approval; feedback will be provided within 7 business days.

4.3 Certificates & Documentation

Issuance:

Upon meeting all completion requirements, a digital Certificate of Completion will be emailed within 14 days.

Verification:

Certificates include a unique verification code; third parties may verify your achievement on our website.

Transcript Requests:

Official transcripts (PDF) are available for a $25 fee; allow 10 business days for processing.

4.4 Extensions & Re‑takes

Extension Requests:

Submit extension requests to support@myresetlab.com at least 7 days before your access expires.

One 30‑day extension may be granted for a $50 fee, subject to instructor availability.

Re‑take Policy:

Alumni may re‑enroll in the same Course at a 50% discount within 12 months of original completion; full assessment requirements apply.

4.5 Alumni Access & Continuing Education

Community Forum:

Graduates retain read‑only access to the Course discussion forum indefinitely.

Advanced Courses:
-
Completion of foundational Courses may be a prerequisite for advanced offerings; details appear on each Course’s enrollment page.

4.6 Use of Your Success Stories

Testimonials:

With your permission, we may feature anonymized quotes, case studies, or before‑and‑after stories on our marketing channels.

Opt‑Out:

At any time, you may withdraw consent by emailing support@myresetlab.com; we will cease using your testimonial within 30 days.

Section 5 – Attendance, Participation & Code of Conduct Enforcement
5.1 Attendance Requirements

Live Session Attendance:
-
For cohort-based Courses, Participants must attend at least 75% of live webinars or workshops to satisfy completion requirements (see Section 4.2).
-
Roll call or virtual check‑ins may be used to verify attendance.
-

Punctuality:
-
Participants should join live sessions at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may be marked absent at the facilitator’s discretion.

5.2 Participation Standards
-
Engaged Learning:
-
Active engagement in discussions, breakout groups, and Q&A is expected.
-
Completion of interactive exercises and peer‑review assignments contributes to your overall participation score.

Respectful Interaction:
-
Address instructors and peers with courtesy; refer to others by their chosen names or pseudonyms.
-
Use “I” statements and refrain from speaking over others.
-
5.3 Prohibited Conduct

Participants must not engage in:

Academic Misconduct:

Plagiarism, cheating, or submitting work that is not your own.

Sharing answers or solutions to graded assessments.
-

Harassment & Discrimination:

Any form of bullying, hate speech, or demeaning remarks based on protected characteristics.

Disruptive Behavior:
-
Repeatedly interrupting sessions, posting off‑topic spam, or engaging in trolling.
-
-
Unauthorized Recording:
-
Recording live sessions—or distributing recordings—without explicit written consent from My Reset Lab.

5.4 Incident Reporting

Reporting Channels:

Submit concerns via the LMS “Report Issue” feature or email conduct@myresetlab.com with “Urgent: Conduct Report” as the subject.

Required Information:

Your name, course title, date/time of incident, involved parties’ display names, and a concise description of the behavior.

Confidentiality:
-
Reports are handled by our compliance team and kept strictly confidential, except as required by law or imminent risk.

5.5 Enforcement & Disciplinary Actions
My Reset Lab reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to impose sanctions for violations of this Section 5:

Verbal or Written Warning:
-
Issued for minor infractions; documented in the Participant’s record.
-

Probationary Status:
-
Temporary placement on probation; additional monitoring of attendance and participation.
-

Suspension of Access:
-
Temporary removal from live sessions and LMS, pending review. No refunds for suspended sessions.
-
-
Permanent Expulsion:
-
Termination of access to the Course and all My Reset Lab offerings, with forfeiture of any remaining access period or fees.

5.6 Appeals Process

Eligibility & Timeline:

Participants may appeal suspension or expulsion decisions within 7 days of notice by emailing appeals@myresetlab.com.

Review Procedure:

Appeals are reviewed by an independent committee within 14 business days.
-

Possible Outcomes:
-
Uphold, modify, or overturn the original decision. The committee’s decision is final and binding..

Section 6 – Privacy & Data Protection
6.1 Information We Collect

Registration Data: Name, email address, payment information, billing address.

Course Activity: Completion status, quiz scores, timestamps of module access, live‑session attendance logs.

Communications: Messages sent via our LMS help desk, feedback forms, survey responses.
6.2 How We Use Your Data

Service Delivery: To grant you access to Course Materials, deliver certificates, send updates, and provide technical support.

Quality Improvement: To analyze engagement patterns, identify areas for enhancement, and develop new offerings.

6.3 Data Sharing & Disclosure

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6.6 Data Retention

Active Enrollment: We retain your data for the duration of your Course access plus 1 year for alumni support and transcript purposes.

After Deletion Requests: Upon a valid deletion request, we will permanently remove your personal data—except where legal obligations require us to retain it (e.g., financial records).
6.7 Children’s Privacy

Adults Only: Our Courses are intended for participants aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
6.8 Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Section 6 to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. Any material changes will be posted on our website and notified to you via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
Section 7 – Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Miscellaneous
7.1 Governing Law
These Course Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising under or relating to them shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflicts‑of‑law principles.
7.2 Jurisdiction & Venue
You and My Reset Lab each irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, for any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms.
7.3 Informal Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to notify My Reset Lab’s Compliance Team in writing at compliance@myresetlab.com, describing the nature of your grievance. We will engage in good‑faith discussions for at least 30 days to attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
7.4 Mandatory Arbitration
If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days under Section 7.3, you and My Reset Lab agree to resolve any remaining controversy by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules:

Rules & Procedure: The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator and governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

Judgment: The arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

Costs: Each party will bear its own attorneys’ fees and half of the arbitrator’s fees and administrative costs, unless the arbitrator awards otherwise.
7.5 Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and My Reset Lab waive any right to pursue or participate in any class, collective, or representative action regarding any dispute covered by these Terms. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity.
7.6 Attorney’s Fees & Costs
In any action to enforce these Terms, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses, in addition to any other relief awarded.
7.7 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
7.8 Waiver
No failure or delay by My Reset Lab in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms will constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of My Reset Lab.
7.9 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any policies or other documents expressly incorporated herein (e.g., Privacy Policy, Course Policy Sections 1–6), constitute the entire agreement between you and My Reset Lab regarding your participation in Courses and supersede all prior understandings.
